Social Services

The Al-Anon Family Groups are a fellowship of family and friends of alcoholics who share their experience, strength and hope to solve their common problems. We believe alcoholism is a family illness and that changed attitudes can aid recovery. Al-Anon is not allied with any sect, denomination, political entity, organization or institution; does not engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposes any

cause. There are no dues for membership. Al-Anon is self-supporting through its own voluntary contributions. Al-Anon has but one purpose: to help families of alcoholics. We do this by practicing the Twelve Steps, by welcoming and giving comfort to families of alcoholics, and by giving understanding and encouragement to the alcoholic.

Youth & Teens

An exciting and energizing class that will keep them moving without even realizing they are exercising! Approximate age range is 5-10 years of age. Activity token required.

The Salvation Army has designed fun, safe and educational programs with a Biblical foundation. Sunbeams for girls and Adventure Corps for boys and Moonbeans for the little ones offers youth the chance to experience a wide variety of fun and educational activities where the children learn, play, and interact in a safe and positive environment. The Salvation Army’s character building programs are biblically based with caring, trained volunteer leaders and similar in structure to Boys Scouts and Girls Scouts.

A safe and enjoyable place for teens to finish homework after school, meet with other young people and explore and develop new skills! Focus will be on helping young people grow into successful, positive, adults. Volunteering, enrichment, and fitness opportunities will be part of the program, as well as high expectations and leadership opportunities. This is a drop-in program: teens are allowed to check themselves in and out.

If you’re age 13-19 and are tired of being bored, check out the teen opportunities. Worship at the Kroc’s Teen Group may very well be the right thing for you or your teen. It provides teens a fun environment to develop into healthy adults through games, activities, and open, honest discussion.

Local teens aged 13-18 can enjoy Friday night games, conversation, and a light meal & refreshments each Friday night. Activities vary, but include ping pong, video games, a Kendama group, music, group games, contests, and special events.
